Sewing as a rekindled interest from my youth, brings me so much joy. I am creating table sets, napkins, quilted pouches, bags and quilts.

is created around her foulard - think delicate silk scarf - where all her ponderings about the complexities and contradictions in life are incorporated.

Fiona's Flower Garden
Fiona is a petite girl from Mars, all strawberry red who gets lost with her spaceship and lands on earth. Meeting new people in a very foreign environment, she is in awe.

'The artist's alphabet' is a mini collection, designed to celebrate the artists basic signs when drawing and painting: the dot, the curve, the line. You can showcase them on postcards, artprints, affirmation cards, wrapping paper, notebooks, or on tableware, like cups, plates, napkins, place sets and tea towels.

I can see these spot graphics and patterns on tableware and paper goods.
Giving a new purpose to discarded fabric is additional joy to sewing pouches, bags, napkins and table sets. Using my blockprinted fabric and my digitally designed fabric is such a joy.

I am Amelia, a psychologist who only just recently discovered my passion for pattern creation and lots of different art media to learn & play with. I am happy to show you my patterns and illustrations.
